Inside the Sirente Regional Nature Park, we meet the village of Castel di Ieri, perched on a hill as if to remember when, in past centuries, the tower that dominates the village controlled the whole territory. It is precisely the Tower, in fact, the symbol of the history of Castel di Ieri: square, almost 20 meters high, is the ancient stronghold built at the behest of the Counts of Celano. Around the Tower there is the historic center, one of the best preserved of its province that, between narrow streets, historical buildings and small details of a distant time, brings us back over the centuries and allows us to identify with an ancient, engaging and magical scenery. Around, woods and rocks embrace the village and guard it, as silent and faithful guardians.
